Well he tried
Famous last words haha

Trying to use a MasterCard in Nigeria? Can't he be a little more deceptive

Trying to say mastercard isn't used in Nigeria?

OP's story struck me as odd. Transferring money across thousands of miles of land and water doesn't compute for me, I suppose. I wasn't aware about how money is handled there. More or less, I was simply bewildered by the scammer's request. No offense intended Mu, but I find it laughable really.

wasn't really offended per se. I'm cool.

Many Scammers out there, be careful. Genuine people usually communicate better. Imo

Frankling speaking, good use of English shouldn't be the basis for determining potential scammers.

It's the way I feel too, brother man. That's a very unfair stereotype.

Sounds like scammers. I had a few myself and didn't fall for it. They send you lengthy emails. Most stories are almost the same. They will ask for money and say they work out of town etc. Report and block them cause they keep trying.

the lengthy email with the sob story is definitive scam material. Also watch for people who say their Americans but they are living in the UK or Africa....especially if is there is a miltary photo or they say they are in construction traveling for work

I had a father in law in construction for 20 years I knew him - not THAT many of those guys do THAT much traveling that we'd get 3 or 4 emails a month from guys traveling abroad in connection with construction work. insane

Sure, someone from the US or who claim to come from thev US should communicate in English very well.

Well, its very bad that some people are using dating sites for spamming. But be careful. and sorry for my bad english.

Oh yeah,
They SHOULD write BETTER English!
I've read profiles and posts whose English is worse than i'd imagine-and they are genuine Uncle Sam's sons/daughters!

So,
No,doesnt mean they all do write proper English sentences!
