I'm still on a high, had dress-rehearsals tonight for our Kingsday gig Saturday. I did my two Muse songs, one of which is Feeling Good. And my English friend, a professional performer, initially was going to help me with that, but I knew I could easily do it myself. But he was there, cos he didn't know yet, lol. After I'd finished, without his help, he said he never heard me sing that well before and that it was really bluddy good! Coming from a professional performer with an amazing voice, I was very pleased, understatement, I was beaming, haha.
He will help me with the choruses of Uprising, which is great! Such a luxury to have a professional singer help you out!
And it's always such a kick to sing, even though I'm extremely nervous before and when I start. But if it goes well and I'm about a third in a song, this buzzzzz kicks in. Wonderful!
