This reminds of yesterday, my mom was cooking a gammon joint, and she came to me and said I don't like the smell of that gammon it smells like pig lmao. I went in and smelt it and it did smell of pig bad, I said I can't eat that, my mom said the same thing. Yes I know it comes from a pig, but should it smell of pig? I mean when you cook a joint of beef it doesn't smell like cow does it?

It wasn't a cheap cut of meat either, it was a extra special honey glazed joint, and was the dearest one in the shop.

I can't eat anything that comes from a pig anymore, that smell sick ill ill ill
I get free breakfasts at times when I pass my mums Snack van Debbie. I offer to pay, but she has none of it! Good old mums eh?

Oh yes defo flowerforyou

Bet you wouldn't eat anything that smells of trotter though lol ohwell

I have made the twisted bacon/breadsticks several times.
They are always good (you showed a pic of them early on
this thread as I recall, too lazy to find it.)

Have not perfected them yet, tho wrapping them in sesame
seeds really helps the flavor.

Soufie, wait until you can try my shrimp-in-a-blanket!!!!

Then, there is my filet, wrapped in bacon, baked and smothered in Cabernet sauted mushrooms and seasoned with coarse ground black pepper. I serve it with twice cooked red potatoes smothered in cheese and bacon. A side line-cucumber salad and berries in hand whipped cognac creme.

Ed: damn you autocorrect!!!
