Oh and our drivers do NOT plan the routes.
They have someone in the office do this and we are not supposed to deviate from these routes.
If there is a problem in trying to get a bus to a particular place they have routed the driver is to tell them.
I think that the person planning the routes should have to get into a bus and drive each route before making it the official route for a driver too.

I was lucky not to work in huge districts...still should have it in a book ...bound...so its not a mess. But. As u survived and got it figured...yay!!!

Yes survived...through tears of frustration...but finally survived it.
The stops are still not clearly visible on the maps and so you have to read and try to drive all at the same time.
Now, how dangerous is that????

Yes some days it is. I thought that the other day while I was in tears.

I actually think each bus should have a GPS IN it not just being able to be tracked by it.
Each route, a.m and p.m., should be programed into it, with the stops, so that there are verbal instructions instead of having to read them.
