This is a huntsman spider, outstretched they can get as big as a dinner plate...when you get up in the middle of the night and turn a light on they can give you heart failure.

Years ago I had one drop down from the sun visor in the car.....holy crap that was not fun....they don't bite thankfully they just eat vermin.....haha couldn't find it, a few weeks later I sold the car, poor bloke that bought might have found it.

OMG, I hate spiders!!!

There, there my pet thing will eat them. oh up in North Qld they have even bigger spiders.....its called the bird eating spider it makes hissing and whistling sounds so it has also picked up the nicknames barking spider and whistling spider....its a great place to live.
