hey everyone.. just comin up for some air.. wow.. WHAT a WEEK! PHEW... for the first time in several years we got SLAMMED with WORK!! and of COURSE.. everyone wants it done beFORE Christmas NOT happening... however I did put in min. 10 hrs a day last week..

yesterday I was up early too.. went for my usual dog walk and MAN was it be-U-tiful..all sparkly and frosted.. EVERYthing glistened.. even the dogs snout after a few minutes just gorgeous.. a true "Winter Wonderland"

when I started putting the bed frame together.. on the first attempt.. the head board fell apart.. I was so took 5 mins to cool off and rethink my design.. 2nd attempt? I hadn't positioned the headboard properly and nearly got konked on the head as it tipped over AND.. it fell apart again .. again.. I walked away and rethought my design.. then, as they say, 3's the charm.. I FINALLY got it all together.. (mind you.. I have a few paint touch-ups ta do ) but it's SOLID now.. by 9pm I managed to get both head and foot boards all set up... however the lesson for another day was.. DON'T do this shite alONE! what WAS I thinking anywho.. today.. the side-boards go up, attaching the steel mattress frame and THEN.. the MATTRESS.. FINALLY.. I MAY even get to sleep in me own bed tonight *sighs*

not sure if I'll be seeing my g-baby or NOT this week.. that's a nightmare for another day but.. I'll have to find time today to put the tree up and decorate.. I'm working monday & tuesday (yup.. another 10hrs a day each or should I say ) and with only the 24th off before I need to be ready (in CASE the fam shows ) got lots ta prep! plus the house looks like crap.. there's NO dining table (it's covered with fabrics, paint, stain, tools, wood etc ) and the dishwasher needs emptying and refilling AND the.. you get the drift lots ta do..

Settled? Not by a long shot... we still don't have stuff out of storage and no couch... that'll hopefully, be coming after Christmas.. we'll pick up my dresser tomorrow and then try and figure out how to get it up the stairs and into the apt.. got the washer/dryer today and have used it a couple times already..

Must get out and put in apps for jobs.. need income.. so I can pay bills.. the phone number is still the same as of now.. you think I'd change it and not tell you???? I value my life.. lol...

(Footnote: I have been away driving like a mad woman for a 5 hour journey on 3 1/2 hours sleep one way, and then make the return journey 2 days later after having 4 hours sleep the night before. Then came back to a mess of urgent matters to attend to that took forever and forever)
