You gringos probably don't know how to properly say the word llama.

But those of us who are not your "so-called gringos" know full well it is pronounced as if it were spelled "Yama". which also could mean "to call" at least in Spanish.

I would expect a Hispanic Texan to know the proper pronunciation of Spanish words.
