im thinking what has the world come to?
how does one respond to this from a twelve year old girl? :
I asked my niece how it's going in school? what have they been doing?
she talked about her classes and then said they had emergency drills.
I asked if it was a fire drill or earthquake drill.
She responded:
they are teaching us what to do if there's an active shooter.
WHAT???
how does one respond to this?
I'm thinking if I could have one wish granted.
It would be to make every child in the world safe.
And for them to know they are safe.
and loved
and he's the same height as mine too.
