Not posting any photos in my profile was a good idea. I am glad I avoided making that mistake! Why would someone half my age on the other continent look at it anyways? This site's purpose is to enable meeting people in person, right? So, what's the point of browsing profiles of people you know you will never meet? Online friendship? That's not why I am here. Let's stay for a while and see if there is someone real and honest near me who wants to meet and become a friend. maybe more.

Hello, welcome to mingle. Good luck and my advice to u is question question question. Alot of people will claim to be something they are not. I know. Loo. Are good people too. I found if they have a pic or actually more than one and an honest description u are more apt to find an honest man. Keep your guard up, dont believe in words, believe in actions, and honest answers and u will be fine. Enjoy and have fun........

Well, I was just thinking of why people do not post their pictures. I mean...I woud not go meet anyone that I have not first seen on picture...then on cam...and then there still is a big part of projection in the end.

If a REAL person living NEAR me reads my profile and I'd like to meet him, why wouldn't I send him a photo? But to him, not to scammer overseas.

I know, but not everyone has the same comfort zone in online activities. Also, not everyone has the same experience with online dating. So if someone chooses not to trust me or exclude me because there is no photo, I guess I'll have to live with it. That's life. Virtual life! LOL

True. When i started more of a personal relationship meeting on here we exchanged our i.d. S. Hehe. Sounds funny but u wanna trust. I havent had amy problems with posted pics, others have. If you talk to someone and i think most people feel a ping keep your head about u and finish your research. Lol. Lol
