Feel so happy! Had a girls night and it was absolutely fab!
The host had some (new) stuff she didn't want anymore so she'd decided to play bingo and all the nice things were the prizes. There was a gorgeous lamp with coloured light and I LOVE coloured light! I didn't win it, but the woman who did, gave it to me in the end anyways :D
So had a brill night, and I'm very happy with my new lamp :) We had soooooo much fun!
sounds wicked awesome! My kid used to admire my tiffany lamp when he was like 3, so I just put it in his room.
He still likes it. He's 18.
Yes it was awesome!
Sounds like your son is like mine. Not that mine has a tiffany lamp, but he does have the tendency to love and value such things. Boys can be kind of special in that way.
He used to stare at the christmas tree too, but deny that he likes it...go figure. He'll appreciate that when its there before him, but seems indifferent otherwise. I dont get it.....but thats ok, he's not for me to 'get'. Just a swell guy I love love love.
Yeah, teens can be funny that way, hihi. Adamant they don't care for something, and I think they often truly feel that way too. But when they're a wee bit older, they seem to change and appreciate and value things they didn't care for, or even resented, before.
My girl (21) is still going through that change. She had very strong antipathies for specific things like birthdays, Easter, Christmas etc. But she's started to change now that she's beginning to find her feet in life a bit more :) Often makes me smile (secretly at times), as she's starting to like a lot of things that are typically "me", things she used to passionately dislike.
