When my doctor's appointment got canceled, I was narked. Then I heard on the news there had been three multiple-vehicle pileups near to where I'd had to go to get to the hospital. Some 100-150 cars involved... Now I didn't need to go on that motorway, it still isn't open for traffic, and these pileups took place in early morning traffic (dense fog). But the roads around that area where totally clogged as well with traffic.
So had my appointment not been cancelled, I probably would not have been able to get to the hospital. Kinda weird ... As if some higher force arranged that I wouldn't go. But the cancellation letter for my appointment has been sent yesterday? Makes you wonder how much of our future / karma is cast in concrete?
If these events are linked, then the pileups were simply bound to happen, unavoidable... Weird ..
ANyway, in the end went out, had a cappuccino in the sun, treated myself to some nice cake to go with it, bought myself a nice rock crystal geode and had a good afternoon :)
