I took my son to a park area on Saturday, when we heard what sounded like a bunch of cats fighting.
We went to investigate.









They weren't cats. They were people playing bagpipes.

Well; I did some yard work, built a deck around my hot tub, cycled to the store for groceries, helped my ex-boyfriend hold a 40 foot ladder while he patched a hole in a building, went to a garage sale, met with some friends for a visit, then back to the house for housework.

<~ Sees more shiny silver streaks in my hair when it is sunny outside...


Spent the morning sitting on the porch watching the sunrise while drinking coffee and hanging out with a friend... O'MalleyCat sitting on my lap, trying to get warm. Feral FrankyCat and her older kitten, JohnnyCat, playing in the yard.

Warmed a combine seat with my hiney, from this morning (as soon as the dew dried)
Until about half hour ago.14 hours sitting...I feel fat.

Tried to hike out into the canyon here got turned back by forestry the forest I have known for the last 35years.. Is all gone... This forest fire has taken on a life of its own now 84.000 acres and 10% containment been 8 days so far...

God willing, you'll get some rain...SOON.

I spent the weekend clearing pepper trees and pesky vines, in order to expand the back yard,
(Sitting area and more green space) outside the pool enclosure.

Farmers market is Thursday, weekly buys include, fresh vegssssss and fruit.. While mingling with
The locals..

Monday morning brings more gloom, so a walk is in order, before the humidity and heat take over.

We shall ponder the rest of the day .....

Scooped up the poopers in the dog's yard out back. Noticed some kewl mushrooms all over the side yard under the dirty popple trees that are already dropping leaves. They were this kind.

Lunch time Pilates class. And boy do I need it today.
