Heard on the news last night that The New Thing this Halloween 2014 is "Pumpkinstein"...pumpkins grown in Frankenstein molds.
They will be in select stores and are expected to sell for $75/apiece.
Is this real or is this an early trick?
Nope, it's real. They grow 'em in molds shaped like Frankenstein's head.
Apparently, it's pretty tricky stuff, getting the watering and sunlight *just right*. Not enough growth, and they don't fill the mold and don't take the shape; too much growth and they burst right through the mold and you get a mish-mash of a pumpkin.

Oooops...but $75 is the
wholesale price...some retailers will be getting them for $125, so the price-to-the-public will be even higher than that.
Still, they're pretty cool!
