Been driving my son and his girl to and from work for three days now, as his car is being MOT-ed.
Good thing is I get to see them a lot, down side is that it takes me an hour, once in the afternoon and once late at night when they've finished work. Couldn't lend him my car, as I needed it myself. Tonight, however, I'm going to have to trust him with it, as I won't need it myself next few days ..
Hopefully his car is done tomorrow and hopefully he's gonna be careful with my old blue baby-car! Young blokes and driving carefully is a rare combination .. And it feels awkward to not have my car readily available in my driveway..
