it seems each generation has to come up with their own lingo to separate themselves from the pack. We did it too. While we do not understand the rationale behind the new meanings of "old" words. Or they invent new ones ( especially in the music world and post Rap). it seems that we accept it more easily then in the past.

Could you imagine the breakdown in communication between parents and their kids in the 50's..when rock and roll hit.

what like ...something like groovy ... or was that later ... not sure ... how about the what the parents don't know about the lingo on the internet ... such as lol thought they may have come out with a book with all that if u wanted to learn it ... thats a way to look at it tho they have to come up with new things that might make no sense at all ...
