I'm sure this has happened to others. I know anyone can view me.
But ones that want actually to meet, match, etc. I don't understand. I am 76, but the ones that want actual contact, are in 20's and 30's.
Makes no sense, they know from my profile. Fewer years may be no big deal, like 5 or even 10. But 40 or 50 years is wayyyyy off, and very strange. Thanks for listening.

I took a look at your profile and you seem like a lovely woman. Certainly a great catch for a mature man. Like Mikey said most of those messages (from young guys) are in fact scammers, some computer generated. Just delete them.
I have seen more then a few guys in the age bracket you are looking for on this site. I don't know if you do so, but you may want to do a search ( age and location.. start close to home and spread it out a bit) and see who's around you.. then maybe just drop them a line.. just saying "hi"

anyway. Scammer is probably the word, no 20 or 30 year old is looking to hook up with a 76. I'trying my own age group. This is my first try at this, and finding it a little discouraging. Thanks for reply.

I agree with Mikey that probably scammers and lots of young guys are just looking to use an older woman for sex or money. i just delete and block these idiots.

I have been around 5 years, and never been scammed.
And because I am a moderator, my profile always runs at the top.
So I am pretty sure I get every scammer out there.

But if you simply do not reply to anything that feels suspicious
in any way, bad language skills, AGE, poorly filled-in profiles,
protestations of love in first contact, attempting to move
communications off-site, all are warning flags.

So, the reason I have not been scammed is, I do not engage.
Report from a profile or from their email.

Enjoining the forums gets you acquainted with active members,
you may even become addicted, like some of us. Because you can
make friends, I have met many that I chat with here.

And friends are a good thing to have, along the way :-)

age group here.

Hmmm.. maybe they just like a older more mature women...hmm... someone with experience... someone that knows what she likes.... someone that doesn't play little school girl games..... if I was 30 I would be checking you out....

Been on here a little longer now, so I get what you were all
saying. Never did this before, so a little na�ve at it. However I did enjoy the posts you all sent. The serious ones, helping. And even a couple humerous ones. Have to have humor. And,just so you know I never responded to those "babies" I shall call them. lol The 20's and 30"s. AS I found out it's widespread and just delete.
