Body size ABSOLUTELY does not mean anything to me. I need a potential date to have a great smile, good sense of humor, and a good personality. I'm too old to care about body size.

I just came in from a date about an hour ago. I was sitting in the park with my lady. To me, she isn't fat. To herself, she is. She looks good to me. Another woman and her boyfriend were also in the park. When she walked into the park, I was like Daaaaaamn. This woman was so skinny she looked like I could reach around her waist with both my hands.

I pointed her out to my lady friend. She said that she looked like a size zero. She also stated how she wished she could be that size. I don't mean this as a putdown. It's strictly a preference. That isn't attractive to me. Why women, in general, seem to think that they should be that small, I don't understand. To me, Besides being a great person to be around, My girl is beautiful. She fills her clothes perfectly. She has enough weight on her that she fills whatever she wears perfectly.

My lady, She has boobs and a butt. To me'When a woman is that small, to the point to where you are so slim that your chest is flatter than the Texas Plains and your butt is almost non-existent, That isn't sexy. At least to me.

I have this issue. I am an active person, but I am a bigger person. I have medical issues that have caused me to gain weight and make it extremely hard to lose it, so, since I'm not skinny, I'm in the unwanted section of things....

You know, I think some people have issues with what they think they see. I looked at your profile pictures. If that's the way you look right now, I'm sorry, I don't see where the problem is. You're not hard to look at, at all. Now, I can understand, even though I'm a big guy myself, where a lot of men will get turned off with women so big that their belly hangs down between their legs when they sit down. They have enough skin on them for three other women. I can kinda see that.

But you are nowhere close to that. You may have some extra weight on you. But, at this point, I think you look pretty good. Maybe you should be like me so to speak. I look for women to date that, well, they aren't sick. But they have to take medication. Maybe they have a problem like I do. The med makes them gain weight.

Someone like that is more apt to understand what folks like you and I are going through. It's a fight to keep the weight down and take the meds. Someone who is going through it is more apt to hang it with you than let's say, A gym rat.

After I was diagnosed with everything and gained weight, my little brother seen me for the first time in three years, and his first sentence was you Don't look like you, you look like someone who ate you....

personal preference. period. some want steak others salad some beer some wine some men like bbw others want a petite woman. if ur happy with u then u need not worry

I don't expect them to have a great body but I do want them to be healthy and live a healthy lifestyle only because I don't want them to drop dead on me.

At my age and before I used to think healthy was all that and a bag of chips but then my perfectly healthy specimin just out of the military of a husband dropped dead on the job from CO2 poisoneing at 36 years old so you never know.

You can pick someone you think is healthy and hope for a happy life and they can turn out to be the most insufferable person you ebver met and you only wish they would kick the bucket. lol

You can pick someone with major health issues, they manage them well, and make the time you spend together a Joy to experience.

I am at the point that I would gladly welcome someone into my life that is what he is. If we have a year or a couple more decades together it is still better than passing up what happiness we could enjoy in the time being.

Generally you get out of relationships what you put in to them and it is a whole lot less than what you get or worrying about what you think you are not getting.

Am I realist and expect that "Old age is not for Sissies"; you betcha. The whole trick to relationships is LIVE and Thrive not try to predict the future.
