I know some of you want progress reports.....Well our plan is inching along.....
SWMBO is now back in Phils.....but sadly where she lives is very lacking in infrastucture.....
So patchy internet if any at all....grrrrr....huge cost to get a line put installed.....

The countdown is on to my next visit....
I fly out on the 21st January for 10 days together....
We are meeting up and staying in Manila...
As where she lives is too dangerous for westerners.....due to high incidences of kidnapping.....

She can and that is our plan, but the visa process is long and treacherous....there are multiple guidelines and steps to follow to ensure success....one mistake or rule not followed correctly results in instant denial....and we only get one chance, if the visa is denied you get no more chances.....

The process can take between 8 months and a couple of years...and you must make multiple visits in that time to prove you are doing it for the right reasons....and you must provide proof that it is real as well...
Then there is the cost....which is substantial...

Combined with the demands of a busy work life and life in general, and the time just keeps ticking away...

Who is to blame for all this rigmarole....why, the scammers of course...grrrrrr

It took my son unlawful 8 years to get nz residential. And another 2 years to get citizenship.
Without it he can't go to Aussie for a holiday.
He has been here for 10 years.
