I always wanted a Corvette split window stingray..... one came up for auction years ago.... but I could not justify spending that kind of money..

..... when I lived and worked in the Rocky Mountains.... I was walking along the side streets.. The Sun was just going down..... and there she was.. I had never seen a car more beautiful... split window Corvette Stingray.... she was painted midnight black... with ruby red pinstriping..... my heart stopped.... I just stood there gobsmacked..... I must have stood there for half an hour just admiring her beauty...... I was bitten.. fell in love right there on the spot.... swore to myself that someday I would own such a beautiful machine...
. of course at the time I did not realize how expensive that machine was...lol

...is that the same kind of corvette that was in that movie Corvette Summer....(if you ever saw that one..)..think I was about 14 when that movie came out...was always going to have one...lol...still don't for your reasoning...

unfortunately I did not get the car..
. I chose to put my boys through university instead..lol..
.. but I have a pretty nice Ford F 150..
. and if you're still interested in that ride.. I'll be happy to show you my truck afterwards.. :banana:

yes I think that is how it goes for most of us.. we don't always get what we want.. but life usually gives us just what we need.... which is really true.. because every time I really really want something.... I usually end up with some version of what I wanted not exactly what I wanted but some version of it..... the universe strange and mysterious...lol
