I'm Pat from Oregon.
Been on the date site scenes for a year now. And it's been one scammer after another. So just to let you guys know. When you guys in your 40s and 50s are looking at us women in our 60. It sends up red flags. For myself I am now suspicious of everyone and it makes me sad. So guys you ones really looking for the love of your life are really going to have to be patient. I know for myself I can't look out of the state of Oregon or overseas because 99% of the time it's a scam. Sad part they're even pretending to be our military. So you guys have a job I had of you. Because a lot of us women have been victims. I do understand that this also happens to you guys. But not as often.so it's going to take patients on both sides for us to be safe. Bless you all take care

I feel the same way when women in ther sixties and seventies view my profile.... like they're just out to use me.... I can smell .. the Garrett L and Ben Gay..... wafting off them as they view me..... just looking for their next sugar daddy.....

.. I'm kidding of course I agree with you .. Gummers.. I mean scammers...

Well I have learn that if you think they are scammer. Tell them you turn every thing to the FBI. I don't know what you guys do over there. But it won't stop till we help with info. I never give anything to someone on line. But sadly there are lady's out there that want love so much they will give anything to feel love. I had 36 years of marriage. And was divorce last year. If I don't ever have a man I. My life again. I can live with it. Because I'm happy now. And it had been a long time coming. I just want to help one lady not to lose everything she has over a scam. Will make me happy!!! Good luck!

To say that we don't have to deal with scammers as often is simply not true.

Well then I hope this can save some of you guys. I just know what I read on the FBI site. And I've had six pretending to be our service men. We just need to work together to do our part to stop it. I want to thank you for your input. I was hoping to see more. Take care!

The problem is that the FBI has no jurisdiction in Nigeria where many of these scammers are based.

So the good thing is to be educated to know the red flags so that we can stop it before it hurts. For me I don't try to hook up with anybody out of state or out of country. and if they're too cute and too young I don't take him serious. Because it's just like your mama says if it looks too good it's probably not true.

Exactly. And if they are scammers, they won't last long on the forums. There will be some young guys who are legitimately interested because they want to know what it's like being with an older woman. They aren't necessarily scammers, but they generally just want you for sex.
