I can remember taking kids to fireworks one year and we sat too close and chunks kept landing on us so we got up and moved

Yipper...I could hear something hitting my metal roof - windows were rattling my phone was buzzing like crazy from a couple of neighbors calling to complain and see what could be done to STOP IT! Night of the living hell! If I'd {we'd} been warned about the location I'd have given my 3 little poopers some proper amount of Dramamine to calm them down prior to that on slot of cannon fire!

Tired. But hopefully done in a few days.

'HIGH ALERT' going around my state for 'WEST NILE';
All equine need to have their shots - dogs/cats left outdoors will suffer some type of virus from mosquito bites {heart worms #1 major concern}!
If it ever stops raining I'm going to mix up some grass spray: vinegar + Epson salts + blue dawn dish soap and spray all of my yard! Kills: chiggers/mosquito's/slugs/bugs plus weeds and is eco friendly too!!!

Resigned, I have to cut a acre of grass and the heat index is 108.

Ouch!...I just finished mine (3/4 of an acre) about an hour ago...It's 94 here today and the humidity is through the roof...This is very unusual for the Plateau...My grass is starting to look like it's late July...Don't forget to wear a dew rag around your neck Jack...It really helps keep you cool...

happily sleepy. but sad that storms will probably keep me from my relaxing float in my 10 ft pool day.
