my car kicked the bucket on Friday. it either needs a new engine or rebuild the existing one.
I'm getting a car that's within my budget but getting it tomorrow evening and taking a vacation day Tuesday to get dmv and insurance squared away.
in any case, it's just tomorrow I don't have a car.my sister is going out of town and leaving her car with me Tuesday through Friday.

and I don't like bothering someone to get me to work and then to get the car. it means that person has to get on the road earlier just because of me

our phlebotomist at work is the manager if the ballpark where my team plays. she asked if I'm playing this season. I said no, but could use a job if you have a place for me. I want to get this car situation settled faster and not be owing.
she said she has office openings or a couple of other options.
