Catfish is what they are called. I have never had so many guys contact me that claim to be widowers, it's an epidemic. You can tell by their poor use of the English language. It's all a roose to draw the women in and make them feel needed. It's pretty obvious when you see them saying phrases like , I will kindly like to know you. When you call them on it they disappear. My question is are there any REAL people on here looking or are they all catfish scammers. ?

I think I've only been mesaaged by one scammer...but easy to spot...

Their profile pic was from a victoria secret model...I'm not egotistical enough to believe someone that goos looking woukd even give me the time of day...

I have recently taken to simply blocking them when I see that their city and state don't match up. frustrated


When I see this, I don't even bother to respond. How many times have seen profiles from:

Manhattan, Washington
Manhattan, NJ
Manhattan, VA

(sigh)


Who knows it might be a new location created in their country spock

not sure whats going on here lately,but i have been getting hammered by scammers,like some 28to32 year old woman is gona be interested in an old guy like me. theres no way iam going to be dating a 28 yr old,had to rase my filters, and yes i do no theres some real woman on here,made some friends with a few awsome ppl as well,

What do men get out of pretending to be a woman to reel in someone like myself who is looking for a genuine relationship only to be figured out as scammers and catfishers?

Do men get off on it? Why do they insist on wasting both their time and ours?

That's one tell tale sign of a catfish...they claim to be in another country due to work or visiting a family member or on holiday.

I just signed up yesterday. Hi everyone I was about to delete this send to until I found this. I came back on this morning there was one from from my state rest from others. Nowheres close to me. And all was widowers. No joking but if all these wives are passing away I think I need to stay single. lol. But when I updated my profile men started dropping.
