we all knew that there will be both real & fake people. i came here 2 have fun n im tryin 2 have some . to me it doesnt matter they r real or not as long as im not serious.

I am real, at least as far as I know I am real - flesh and bone.

the ones that strike me as interesting have filters on I'm not allowed to send emails I'm sure those are real. it could be anything to too tall too short too young too old. too far away. keep trying. if they ask for yahoo gmail phone number in second email FAKE.

Just hang on there be patient and you will find the right personal. My experience is if they are asking for your email address, or to chat on Yahoo, Viber after you exchange couple of emails on Mingle, the they a fake. And they are always in a rush want to deactivate their account after you exchange email addresses

I have saw profiles that have filters that virtually no one can contact them and that makes me suspicious because of the nature of this site.

Even if your not looking for dating and your just here for friends, why do some set filters so virtually no one can contact you and in some cases with profiles I saw, no one could contact them, for example the only way is if they are like 98 years of age and similar things so no one could make contact.

That just makes me think, there motives may not be good, if they don't want contact with people. Because what's the point. This is a social site to meet other people.

of course there are exceptions to why some people do this.

Oh Boy truer words haven't been spoken, lately I have been receiving emails from people that dont' post in the forums but are members...

I think those are the people you see first because they are looking for new patsies. Most relatively anonymous sites have a lot of flotsam and jetsam floating around. Doesn't mean there aren't real people too. Just smile and block the ones you don't want to hear from again.
