Poor poor kitty cat.. did the conversation go flat for you?.
Oui oui.. Mon Cheri the art of conversation is dying a slow death..
. How to keep someone on the edge of their seat ..keep them hooked on every word that rolls off your tongue..
Keep them intrigued with you.. yes the art of conversation... is dying just as surely as the chicken with his head cut off is going to die.. sure sure it might run around flapping its wings !.. making a bunch of noise..hmm. well I guess its not making a bunch of noise..
.. after all it no longer has a head..lol..
But it is dead just like this conversation..lmao..xo

OK,.. maybe I was expecting too much..perhaps I am a better speaker with the written word or with a face to face meeting and need to work on my own conversation skills.. but I was asking questions and getting one or three word answers..and again, maybe I was asking the wrong questions..oh well, onward and upward..

Nah ... some people simply can't hold their own in a conversation. But at least you find out very early on.
If you have to resort to asking questions in an attempt to keep things going, you know enough.

I'm with you here. One thing I always hated was trying to drag info out of someone. It amazes me the people out there that have little to no conversation skills.

No offense to Adivorcedone but drives me more nuts than a terse voice call is when people insist on texting a long, involved interchange, taking hours when only minutes were needed, and all during this time both hands are occupied. It'd be cool if the extra time to think about what we were saying led to more thoughtful communication but this is very rarely the case.
Text if you have just a quick message. Speak if you want to have a conversation.
I feel better now.

No offence taken...

I kinda like texting...short sweet and suggestive msgs, during working hours, and because I have a lousy cell phone plan( yes, I only have that one phone) it cheaper to text ( I have unlimited in and out).Late nights are reserved for long conversations. I agree, its better to chat on the phone, but its even better to have the F2F....all I am saying..

Well it would appear that this phone call was not a "phone sex" call.

Hey! you will be, I know I am, surprised at what you can get a way with by texting, as opposed to talking on the phone. Call it what you will...sexting or plain texting...it kinda works for me...it also shows that you ain't no fuddy daddy, with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.....plus you have a record of the conversation, huh and at this age I figure I might need it..lol
