Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia dead at 79 surprised

By Adario Strange

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, 79, has been found dead from natural causes at the Cibolo Creek Ranch resort in West Texas.

There are currently few details, and Scalia's death has not been confirmed by the U.S. government or Scalia's family. However, the report claims that Scalia arrived at the resort on Friday, attended a party and then failed to show up for breakfast the next morning.

The report from the San Antonio Express-News also notes that the U.S. Marshal Service, the FBI and the Presidio County sheriff are all investigating the incident.

Precisely. Will he nominate a left-wing radical? A moderate? Unlikely it will be a Radical Right winger. But since his Presidency has upset pretty much every faction, who knows?

My only prediction: no matter who he nominates, the right wing and other anti-Obama people will CLAIM that the judge in question is a left-wing liberal. Rather like the way that the Left always CLAIMED that Republican Presidents' nominees, were secret neo-nazi's.

If Obama has one single ounce of "America" in him, he will allow the American people to nominate the next justice.....by allowing whoever the American people elect the next president to nominate the next justice....

....I wont hold my breath. Btw, that election just got huge....especially if the Senate stalls any Obama appointee.

On a side note...if you wanna buy an AR, i suggest doing it now....

You are mistaken. Delay would mean that the court could not come to any decisions about anything until next year. That would be irresponsible in the extreme.

BREAKING: Justice Antonin Scalia Dead, Obama to Nominate: http://youtu.be/NKWXKqtHLac/

His death set off an immediate debate about whether President Barack Obama should fill the seat in an election year, and sources told CNN Saturday night that the President plans to nominate a replacement. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the nomination should wait until the next president comes into office, while top Democrat Harry Reid called for the seat to be filled "right away."

Scalia died in his sleep during a visit to Texas. A government official said Scalia went to bed Friday night and told friends he wasn't feeling well. He didn't get up for breakfast on Saturday morning, and the group he was with for a hunting trip left without him.

Someone at the ranch went in to check on him and found him unresponsive.

The U.S. Marshals Service is helping to arrange for his body to be returned, an official told CNN, not to investigate his death.

They were already present because marshals sometimes help supplement security for traveling justices spock

Scared "ya'll" cant elect a ultra liberal again, eh? Figures....my statement STILL stands....his presidency has less that a year left....to appoint a LIFETIME justice. But hey, whatever it takes to appoint a left wing justice....I get it...frick half the country though.
