Although i don't use the site nearly half as much as i used to, i have noticed there seems to be a lack of female members that are active, on the forums most of the posts are by males apart from the ones from regular posters.
So where are all the females? what do you all do when you use the site? because you don't seem to be half as interactive as the men are!

I actually didnt notice myself. I think the best way of knowing who's active is by performing the "who's online" search. As most people here dont participate in the forums, its not a good guage of people who are active

I suspect that most of the people who join , dont use the forums, and even when they do, they deactivate very quickly. The who's online search is way more dependable I think

With all due respect, Giantowl, I'm not sure who you are hoping will answer? Lurkers that haven't posted thus far? I think there just is a higher ratio of men to women on this site. (And on dating sites, etc, in general.)


It's kind of like walking into a party and looking around the room and saying "Hey, where are all the cool people at??" Um... those of us that are here aren't cool enough?!

And I agree with Peggy's suggestions on searching who is online. And as for forum posters... just scan the posts? Easy to see on which topics women are posting!

It may be the topics you are looking at as well. For instance, I don't think I will ever find myself responding to a thread regarding football or tennis because I don't have a big interest in those sports.
