Yep, very possible. It happened to me twice in the 4 years I've been on dating sites.
But I don't start talking about FWB in my profile text. Typically you attract what you state you don't want. If you change your profile text, keep it positive and only state what you are looking for, it will probably stop.
The ones that get harassed are almost always people that say stuff like "I do not want this. If you do that, don't contact me, if you are like this, do not contact me!" Often typed in capitals.

Stating what you don't want can be encouraging of the encouragables in that the will think all the others have worn you down and they may have a chance.
Stating what you do want leaves you open to the players pretending to be what you want. But that's what players do whether you tell them what you want or not.
Stating what you do want is a stronger position that has you as the chooser of what you will accept.
Stating what you don't want has you as a potential victim defending yourself from others choices.
Its a fine line between victim hood and being a strong defender
Not sure if that all makes sense

You will always be a defender and a chooser.... Choose wisely
