Holy sh@t !

I only had a 33 out of 50. And it said, "Well Done" !?

I blame the decline of the American public school system. (That geography is no longer taught). And the internet. And the P.C. mentality of "everyone gets a trophy", therefore eliminating healthy competition.

Excuse me as I run out to buy an OLD FASHIONED paper/ book Atlas. And begin writing formal apologizes to Spain, Portugal , South Africa.... and so on, with OLD FASHIONED pen and paper.

I think I scared myself !

Oh, I don't know. I wont play the "game," because I've seen those things before, and the click-bait format takes too much time, and is too annoying.

I could probably do better than most on a more functional test. I know the names of all 196 recognized countries in the world, and I know where they all are. I can recognize the shapes of most of them, because I get a kick out of studying maps, and looking for political-geographic reasons for what happens in the news. In short, I am a well-educated historian.

As for the fact that most Americans can't do this, being a modern education failure, I disagree strenuously. That accusation is based on a FALSE fantasy about past education, and on mostly politically motivated, and financially self-blinding negative assumptions being made about schools, and about other Americans in general.

I know what I know, but I don't know it because education in America used to be better. I know it because I personally WORKED ON LEARNING IT ON MY OWN TIME.

One more thing... here is a link to a related "game," that is NOT infested with click-bait nonsense. It's a fun way to learn the names and locations of all 196 countries, if you care to.

Our ranking is now about 30th in the world. That is not a fantasy. That is a sad reality from ideologies like Common Core, diversity and equality.
(Which removed competition).

Congrats. All adults should. Especially in topics that interest them.

People have to teach themselves to lighten up a little, criticize less, not over analyze everything, and enjoy simple things. Especially what is intended to be simple and  entertaining.

My point about it not being due to some massive decline in education here, was based on the fact that it wasn't any better when I was a kid. Not on some illusion that everything is wonderful.
