Quiche lorraine
Ingredients
puff pastry (freshness area) 1 roll
matchsticks of smoked bacon 250 g
onions 1
eggs 4
2 dl light cream
grated cheese 150g
nutmeg
salt and pepper
Chop the onion
Beat the eggs, mix in the cream and cheese, and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Preparation
1 Spread the puff pastry with its baking paper in a large pie tin (± 28 cm) and prick it a few times with a fork. If necessary, cut off the baking paper that protrudes from the mold.
2 Fry the bacon and onion in a pan without adding fat for 3 min. Arrange them on the dough.
3 Pour the egg mixture on top.
4 Slide the quiche into the oven preheated to 200°C for ± 35 min. If it browns too quickly, you can cover it with aluminum foil.
