Trump is only being sued in civil court, not criminal court, so he's not going to jail for this. Only being fined and losing his NY business licenses. Your argument that the banks made money doesn't matter. Trough Trump's fraud, he got a larger loan and a lower interest rate than otherwise eligible, so the bank lost out on income and trough tax fraud, the state lost out on tax revenue. It went both ways, and it's going to cost Trump hundreds of $millions. If everybody in the real estate business is doing it, then this case will be a strong message that they should stop it.

If you want to make banking fraud legal, then the law has to change. It's not the DA's fault that her office is doing their job.

A number of law advisors examined this case and said it shouldn't be in the courts being tried because every real-estate investor does the same things. It's frivolous and now anyone else that's done it including the banks should be tried. Including anyone responsible for pushing this case to court. Bet they have more to hide then Trump.

OK, so what if your point was that the government shouldn't come after people paying off car loans, it still begs the question. Trump's bank fraud wasn't a car loan, and it's illegal to lie on a car loan application, too, regardless of whether the loan was paid off.

James Comer showed a canceled check to Joe Biden for $200,000 from 2018, when Biden wasn't even a candidate, that appears to be a loan repayment from his brother. Where's the crime? If you believe Joe Biden is a criminal, then what crime do you believe he's committed?

First, the $200K check was from 2018, when Biden wasn't in public office. 2nd, the check came from his brother and was written six weeks after Joe transferred a similar amount to James Biden. The 2nd check even says "Loan Repayment" right on it.

Money laundering is not money passing from one bank account to another. Once money is in the banking system, it's already "laundered". Money transfers across international borders could be a sign of crime, but transfers from one American to his brother is not. Especially by large checks, between private citizens. Where's the crime?

I'll grant that a bribe can have "Loan Repayment" written in the memo line of the check, just like I used to write "for sensual massage" when I repaid a loan to my buddy when I was 20. Funny gag. But, despite what Comer says (he lies a lot) Joe Biden doesn't have so many bank accounts. Maybe James and Hunter have numerous shell companies and bank accounts, but those are not the President's. It absolutely has not been disproven that Trump and his family took payments from foreign entities while in office. It has not been disproven that Jared & Ivanka made hundreds of $millions while in the Trump Administration. Trump is so clearly guilty that he's not even fighting the charges, but rather demanding that he has "absolute presidential immunity," even though he's no longer president, and "absolute presidential immunity" isn't a thing. Every one of the 91 felonies are being charged with careful indictments and plenty of evidence and witnesses, and all Trump can do is delay and appeal, because he has no real defense for them.

In this country you don’t have to prove your innocence.. you are innocent until proven guilty. Lots of democrats have trouble understanding that. They think that if enough people say someone is guilty , that person IS guilty.. same with the border, they say it’s not open and it is secure… reality deniers…

Did you notice that Trump refuses to testify, sues to block others' testimony or release of any evidence? In the New York fraud case, he provided so weak a case that the judge granted a default judgement, and the trial was just to decide the damages. In all Trump's other cases, he's not providing arguments to clear him, but is asserting "absolute presidential immunity" and not even pretending to be innocent. So again, what's been disproven?
