Bought a used AWD vehicle in July froma dealership and still haven't gotten my tags and title. This is my third set of temp tags and I'm not sure if I can get another. What can I do?

Get onto the dealership, and give them a fixed date to provide the Tags or come and collect their chunk of metal and you want a full refund

It might cause them to pull their finger out

You can also take the paperwork especially with the vin number down to you local tax accessor or dmv where you would normally get the tags and inquire about them. They can look it up jn the computer if they have been mailed and to whom.

Already done that. It's a very small town. We went through the computer and paperwork going back to July when I bought it and there was nothing

Maybe in a small town, these things take longer?...

I'm not familiar with how stuff works in USA, if you like the motor maybe it's worth waiting more?

Here we have the dvla (driver vehicle licensing authority - good for domestic/personal stuff) and vosa (vehicle operator services authority - good for business/commercial stuff) and in general writing to one of them directly can speed things up...

I should think that in exceptional circumstances, where you have done everything by the book, it should not mean that your penalised for it...

It's very different from here, where you wouldn't be allowed to drive a vehicle on any public roads without tags... If you did, you get arrested

It could be a stolen vehicle, so they wouldn't have the title.

Regarding this, I think you need to consult the DMV

I would go down to the dealer and demand action ..if they are still around !!!!
