Hey Tom.. if you select Full site .. you can access mail setting options from the menu that gives you control over what emails you receive .

To deactivate your account .. select that option from the settings menu .

If you change your mind and find you miss the site you can reactivate your account anytime . If you have a paid membership . You will need to cancel that . Email the site via the support option .
