Abra, I do think it helped to add a personal item to the circle tho. At least it seems to for me

I hope you enjoy it.
That's a great idea Jill.
Tonight I've been charging my athames with love and yin and yang.
I remove the Goddess athame from its sheath and sing my Goddess chant to the Goddess whilst holding and fondling the athame.
It's interesting because I'm intuitively building up a ritual out of the blue here.
As I sing the Goddess Chant I find that I am naturally compelled to move the athame around, hold it, stroke it, caress it and move it in ways that might best be described as an 'oriental or indian dance ritual'.
It's quite interesting because the ritual is taking on a life of it's own.
I do this same thing with the God athame. I can feel the vibrations of my chanting resonate with the blade of the daggers. The feelings are of course of love and praise for the yin and the yang of the Goddess and the God.
I can feel the energy building up in the athames.
In any case, you've just mentioned laying out the spread around a personal object. That just gave me the idea to cross the athames in the middle of the table and layout the Horoscope spread around them.
Nice idea Jill!
I haven't yet made a magic wand, but I'm working on that. My magic wand will be associated with the Great Spirit.
When I cast a circle thrice around, I will begin with the Magic Wand, then with the God athame, and finally with the Goddess athame.
The energies will be so sweet as they build up to become my Magic Circle.
