Welcome to the Wonderful World of Witchcraft and Shamanism

Welcome to the Witch's world
where magick wands of often twirled
and spells are cast and circles hurled
and dreams of love become unfurled

The Witch's art is quite the craft
in spite of those who think it's daft
though Witch's suffered in their wrath
they've survived the aftermath

The Witch's way is quite alive
in modern times it's been revived
so don't ignore or be deprived
of ancient wisdom that's survived

Don't be fooled by pious creeds
self-righteous fools who plant their seeds
for evil lurks within their deeds
and all they sow are bigot weeds

So join our thread of loving ways
and add your fervor to the blaze
post your thoughts for days and days
to give the Goddess all you praise

Did you notice Spidey's post in Sharp's thread?
Even he admitted it should have been in the Christian forum.

Spider gets on my nerves but in all fairness he's one of the brighter ones. He is well aware that the Christians have their own forum and he can clearly distinguish between the appropriateness of a topic that is debate oriented and one that is just praising one religion or God to the exclusion of all others.

We only have about 5 mainstay members so far, but all seeds must sprout from small beginnings. flowerforyou

We probably should have named the thread "Witchcraft and Shamanism" instead of "Wiccans", since none of us are actaully Wiccans anywhat really.

Even our logo says, "Wiccan Wonder". laugh

Although in truth, people do tend to use the word "Wicca" to refer to witchcraft in general, and there can even be arguments given that the word existed long before Gardner used it as a label for his version of a "religion".

Yes, I have often wished I had not named it Wicca. I did that because I thought it would be recognizable without being offensive. There was nothing like this when I got here and I was a tad apprehensive of coming out of the closet. I guess we could start all over with a thread titled more appropriately? I wouldn't mind.
