Anybody remember that hideous song by Laura Branigan during the 80's called Gloria. I saw her do that on Sat. Nite Live and it was the worst thing ever.


I think Gloria was her second worst song. Her "string of hits" (all two) ended with Self Control which may be worse. It's a close call...


Nice try, but wrong. She had seven Top 40 hits. Died of an aneurysm in 2004.

You have an interesting view point. However, once the artist goes public with their work, then it's fair game. We are all entitled to our opinions and yes some are like assholes. Your opinion on Kiss comes to mind. DO YOU THINK AFTER 35 EFFING YEARS Gene Simmons CAN LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE BASS???

In your world they are good because they make money???? Pssst, true art is not measured in material worth.

I don't mind Kiss, but I'm not a fan. I don't like the Beatles either, or The Eagles for that matter.

Just because something is popular or sells a lot of records doesn't mean it's any good, Britney and SoulJa Boy sold TONS of albums, can anyone here honestly say they're "good"?

There are bands and sounds that I do not like even though I can appreciate the ability of the players. Jerry Garcia comes to mind. I hated the sound of his guitar but appreciated the talent. We can agree to disagree on what sounds appeal to us, but bad or untalented musicians are not debatable.
