You wouldn't believe the miracle of finding it. It's a mid 60's Yamaha. Bought it at a yard sale in Cincinnati for $5. I couldnt believe it..the srings cost 4times more than the gtr....:tongue:

ive seen one at a pawn shop for like $150
but i dont have that much extra money
im hella jealous
and its a yamaha
i have a six string yamaha and it sounds beautiful
for such a small body

i got my tele about 10 months ago
its pretty nice
but ill never get over the acoustic sound though

Yea...acoustics are sweet....I play fender elec. also, but I prefer strats. I'd love to get a tele one day. Nothing else souds like that.

I saw a special about him on PBS sometime in the 90's before he died. It was awesome. You should try to look that up.

Thanks for the tip...I'll check it out. Lately I'm into studying chord books and alternate tunings. That's when it starts to get real interesting...:tongue:
