Well I have tried everything does anyone have any advice?

It's actually pretty easy organicman, I don't think you can post video only youtube links but pics from photo bucket are simple.

1- open your photobucket account
2- choose an image from your library
3- on the right will be "Links to share this photo"
4- you will see> email & IM

IMG
5- click> "IMG" (a yellow bar will show up saying "copied")
6- open the mingle2 forum/post reply where you want to put the image
7- right click in the typing field & from the drop down menu
click "paste"
8- the url you copied from photobucket will be displayed in the
typing field & when you click "post reply" the image will be
displayed!

As you noticed video's do not work on this site therefore Journeyman236 is correct you can only put the link here to the youtube ...

I was having the same issue though posting a photobucket image. Either I need to put after the code, or make the images public within photobucket's site

It seems that if you upload pics from facebook into photobucket it doesn't like the code. I uploaded this one of my dog directly from the computer into my photos & it took just fine.

This pic I uploaded from my facebook album & moved to the main picture album. The code works fine now. It seems that to be able to post pics here they MUST be in your main "your photos & videos" folder
