  swing!

I learned how to swing dance about 10 years ago, but I don't remember too much. But I know if I took a course or found a swing club, I would be able to pick it back up.

That's awesome. It's something I've been wanting to learn for years. I could definitely use the excersise too. Haha.

It had a popular streak about 10 years ago, and when I was up at college; they had a few swing dances. It was so much fun!

Benny

drinker Total brilliance, but it comes down to Gene Krupa. You have to move your feet when he's playing the beat.

LOVE Swing!!! Gave many of these a shout-out in the oldies-goldies threads. Artie Shaw and the Glenn Miller bands deserve their due here too!

For the Benny Goodman tune y'all have celebrated here, give a listen to Louis Prima's hep cat, gone daddie-o ( ) version too!

Sing, sing, sing - Lous Prima:banana:

Ah, c'mon', everyone needs to shake it up w/ variety a bit. We weren't saying we'd tie you up and torture you w/ it for the rest of time. Even if you beg us too!

When you need to crank it up until you get a feeling, sometimes ONLY a lead axe - with dancing madmen and ladies will do! Fact!
