I am sorry to hear of your loss.
But, I agree, music can play a very important role in how you deal/remember people. I must admit Barbra Steisand isn't one of my favorites. But, she can sing songs that will knock your socks off! A very tallented singer.

This week in the one year anniversary of when my cousin's 24 yr. old son hung himself. Next week is the one year anniversary of one of my dear friends dying of colon cancer. By the end of this month, I'll also be remembering two more people that died one year ago this month.

Ouch. I have a similar memory of a loss. January 23, 1988, I think it was. A friend I recommended for a job died of asphixiation on the job. Remembering keeps some part of them alive in our hearts.
