I used to mix, DJ'd a bit, scratch here and there. But I was also under the influence of a number of illicit substances, so the memory has slipped me...anyone have any tips on getting started? I have Ableton, but I lack a good set of tables (of course I don't know what a 'good' set of tables really is)...so I'm mixing by software right now, and can't find a good tutorial for Ableton.

The best tables I ever used were the good ol' standby's - the Technics QT1200's with felt mats.
