Do y'all like going to musicals?

We went to a high school production of The Wizard of Oz last night and I had forgotten how much I love them. I didn't know most of the kids as they are older than my own but I was so proud of them for the hard work they put into it.

If you had to recommend a broadway show, which would it be?

"Cats" or "Les Miz".

There's a reason why both of these had such successful runs on Broadway.

Maybe even "Phantom".

Wicked and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee are both running on Broadway right now, and they're both great for all ages.

LOL

I believe Mama Mia is coming to my town this summer. Really want to see that. I saw Grease a few years back! It was great!

Where do you go to watch these? Locally? I don't think much good comes around my area. Maybe in Columbus, Ohio we could find something.

There at times at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio some Broadway musicals on a road show.

Pittsburgh, Pa. also has a great theater district.

Don`t know part of Ohio you live in, but these two areas might be worth checking out.

For me it was at Pope Joy Hall in Albuquerque (3.5 hours)...that or El Paso (1.5 hours) are the closest venues with much to recommend most of the time. We do have a local theater that gets touring companies once in a while and in Ruidoso the Spencer Theater (rated something like #7 in the world) also gets shows but it's VERY hard to get tickets.

Having lived on the east coast, in Ohio near you, and out west...I really "get" that travel is a very different thing in different places. In 3.5 hours you can be in or across another STATE!

Check out Columbus...
