Iko Iko by Cyndie Lauper...love that tune...gives me the goose bumps.

Hmmm....not familiar with a Cyndi Lauper version. I'm familiar with many of the other versions, especially the big hit in '65 by The Dixie Cups, as well as the hit version by The Belle Stars (at the beginning of Rain Man). I'll have to look up Lauper's version. In the meantime....

Wasn't this used in Ferris Bueller's Day Off or something? I remember hearing it on some movie from back then.

80s??? Meh; not really my era of music. There's some decent tunes but there's too much cheesy midi sequenced crap for me. Got too carried away with their synthesizers IMO. Don't get me started on the "hair bands" either LOL!

Maybe to some extent, but it certainly wasn't all like that.

Oh yeah, I had the album before "Love Missile F1-11" was even popular! In fact, I have TWO copies of that album!

Alright, alright; I guess I'm somewhat a fan of the 80s. I like U2, Duran Duran, Journey, The Cars, Aerosmith, Heart, The Police, and a bunch of others. Just not my favorite decade for music.
