Hadn't heard that term before but saw a good concert last night at a local venue...The John Jorgeson Quintet. Pretty cool and a new genre term to boot!

I've heard of it. Django Reinhardt is one of the most famous Gypsy Jazz guitarists, you may have come across the name.

I HAD heard of Django Reinhardt, as a matter of fact, but somehow had missed the word "gypsy" in the jazz genre title over time. In fact, there were a number of references to Reinhardt's legacy during the show and I kept trying to piece what I knew and what I didn't...

Good show, though!
