Our town is hosting its 90th anniversary of the Reno Rodeo starting tomorrow, so in the spirit of the upcoming festivities, I have been listening to the local Country radio station.

Quite a few good songs I have heard...Strange by Reba McEntyre, Kiss a Girl by Keith Urban (hope I got that right), and this cute song with the following chorus:

I guess thats just the way love goes

i was raised on country music

my dads second cousin is teri clark
and my uncle was married to loretta lyns cousin
(marie and loretta looked idenical)

i like garth brooke
johhny cash
willie nelson
and there are several others

when i worked at the golf course resturant number of yrs ago
i was walking in and i saw a unmark bus, i ask one of the cooks and he didnt know who it belong to.. shortly after the delivery guy came in and said vince gill was out in the golf course.... so we all stop to watch him...

wynonna does this song on the touched by an angel soundtrack that brings me to tears...

queene: that is so cool!!!! im only 5'2 but that didnt stop my boss from making me a guard at the George Strait/Teri Clark concert here in town years ago. I was back of the stage when they walked from the dressing rooms to the stage. Awesome!!!
I remember hearing that when Garth came here before, the phone lines all went dead from people ordering tickets. I think it was before online ticket sales were probably popular!!!

my sister used to work at a grocery store as the flower driver.
and dolly parton was in town that yr and my sister boss was a big fan of her so my sister had dilvered flowers to her from her boss..
