So how was the show? He's playing this week at the Jackson County Fair in Michigan...$30 a ticket.

The show was great! Solid music and show, front to back. No banter/filler in between songs. Lots of older/more obscure stuff that I was surprised he played in concert, like "Dwight Fry", "Cold Ethyl", and "Nurse Rosetta".
Was kinda surprised he didn't do "Feed My Frankenstein", or "House Of Fire".
Conversely, I was PLEASANTLY surprised he wove in "I Never Cry" and "Only Women Bleed" into his set!

"Diamonds" and "Billion Dollar Babies"
For "Diamonds", he threw out strings of silver Mardi Gras beads to the crowd (I got one). For "Billion Dollar Babies", he had about 500 fake $20 bills skewered onto a fencing sword that he fanned out over the audience (I missed getting one of those).

I saw him a couple years ago. It had been awhile since I had gone to one of his shows. His shows are fun......
