Formed in 1961, Golden Earring has been active for more than 50 years non-stop, which makes them the world's longest surviving rock band, formed a year before The Rolling Stones.
The current line-up has been intact since 1970.

A successful psychedelic album Eight Miles High, which featured an 18-minute version of the title track, itself a cover of the 1966 hit song by The Byrds.
The live version, which could last 45 minutes, was played during their first and second American tours in 1969.
