Is anybody else a fan of metal on here? Some of my favorite bands are The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Dagon (local in michgan), Bring Me The Horizon, Suicide Silence, See You Next Tuesday, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God and All That Remains. If you like metal and haven't heard of those bands, check them out.

**** yes. sweet bands. There's so many more I could name that are great but I'm too lazy to. I'm so glad I'm not alone here lol

Most of the stuff you guys have mentioned I am not big on..but I do like Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, and Blind Guardian.

But then again, being a bit older than you, I am pretty sure my definition of ' metal ' is gonna be slightly different than yours.

Well, going oldskool, Led Zepp, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Motorhead, Alice Cooper.... all good.

Well, going oldskool, Led Zepp, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Motorhead, Alice Cooper.... all good.

I run the gamut from Iron Maiden to Slipknot to Stone Sour to Slayer to a few of the Power Metal bands....lol

Despised Icon is sick.
I'm down with the classics too. Sabbath got me into playing guitar. Electric Funeral was the first song I learned.

best all time bands for me have to be faith no more, def leppard, metallica and machine head. They all put on amazing live shows!

Dream Theater, James Labrie, vocalist for Dream Theater has a great solo project "Elements of Persuasion", Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, Queensryche.
All great progressive rock bands and all "you tubeable"

Not much into the senseless screaming type metal but Pantera's "Cemetary Gates" is a great tune.
