Pearl Jam? Really Dict? I guess I could see why, but then again, I always found them more creative than Nirvana (Yeah, I will take heat for that). But, aside from Cobain's lyrics and voice, Nirvana really didn't WOW me. Now, since Cobain did end his life way too early, we will never really know the full potential that Nirvana could have attained. However, Pearl Jam has been a good band that has lasted longer than even I thought would. "TEN" is an awesome album. And songs like "Jeremy", "Evenflow", "Yellow Ledbetter" and "Black" really show how creative they were (and are). And Vedder has a voice that will always be remembered when he is long gone. I know Nirvana is well loved, and they have every right to be loved. But I just feel that the band gets this "Iconic" place because of how Cobain left the world. And, I dunno...I just like PJ better. LOL!
I hear ya'. Still... They do nada to me, man! It's all about personal preference. Pear Jam to me is re-packaged classic rock (yuck!) disguised as grunge rock sucking Sony's d***!
