This Monkey's Gone To Heaven. Where Is My Mind was featured on the Fight Club soundtrack. They are a cult band really...but one of the greatest bands to appear on the late 80's early 90's alternative scene.....

Yup...The Breeders were great too. The first album was the best in my opinion...the one with Tonya Donnely from Throwing Muses. Great stuff. Frank Blacks solo stuff is awesome too!

Anyhoo...anybody interested in The Pixies must check out the Come On Pilgrim EP...and Surfer Rosa (both are on a single CD)...or their major label debut Doolittle on Electra/4 A.D label. They have 3 "official" albums...and a few compilations after that. I HIGHLY recommend their BBC sessions CD...but it's been long out of print.....

I saw The Pixie at Villanova University where the opened up for Love and Rockets. Played to a near empty auditorium. Man, I've seen many...many shows...but THAT was amazing! :tongue:
